Desktop Integrated Jewelry Laser Welder (MW-ST series, up to 100 W)

Overview

This desktop welder is a self-contained jewelry laser workstation. The laser heats the surface of the piece with short pulses. The heat conducts into the metal and forms a small weld pool, whose size you control with pulse width, energy, peak power and frequency. With up to 100 W output and 50 J per pulse, it covers routine welding and repair on most metal jewelry.

You aim with a microscope and a camera system. The display sits on top of the cabinet beside the binocular microscope, and the work chamber is lit and open at the front.

Configuration

• Laser: 1064 nm, single-lamp pumped, up to 100 W and 50 J per pulse.
• Pulse: 0.1–10 ms, 1–15 Hz, adjustable.
• Aiming: microscope plus camera system.
• Controls: key switch and emergency stop on the front panel.
• Cooling: air-cooled.
• Power: 220 V ±5 %, 50/60 Hz, ≤ 2.5 kW.
• Cabinet: 510 × 295 × 420 mm. It ships in a 660 × 400 × 500 mm wooden crate, 48 kg gross.

Because it needs no water chiller, it suits repair counters where water would be inconvenient, and shops that want a second welder for quick tacks next to a larger machine.
