Models · MW-A5UV

Our smallest UV printer: a 20 kg desktop unit with a 120 × 210 mm print area for phone cases, cards and small gifts. It uses an Epson L800 head, prints white and colour in the same pass, measures object height (up to 120 mm) with a one-key infrared sensor and cures with an LED UV lamp. Choose it for counters, kiosks and start-up personalisation; the A3 and A2 models print larger items.

Overview

The MW-A5UV is a desktop UV printer for small items. It prints a 120 × 210 mm area on objects up to 120 mm tall, so it handles phone cases, cards, tags and small gifts. Place the item on the tray, press the one-key infrared measurement, and the printer sets the right head height.

An Epson L800 head prints white and colour in the same pass. White lets you print bright colours on dark or transparent cases. An LED UV lamp cures the ink as it prints, so the result is dry, waterproof and scratch-resistant as soon as it leaves the tray. Ink use is about 20 ml per square metre.

Configuration

  • Head: Epson L800, micro-piezo.
  • Curing: LED UV lamp.
  • Height: one-key infrared measurement, 0–120 mm.
  • Lid: tinted cover over the print area.
  • Control: Windows PC.
  • Power: AC 100–230 V.
  • Size and weight: 500 × 370 × 270 mm, 20 kg; ships at 28 kg in a 530 × 400 × 300 mm wooden case.

Typical applications

Phone case personalisation, cards and tags, small gifts and promotional items. Its size suits retail counters, kiosks, print shops and start-up businesses.

If you need a bigger bed, the A3 model prints 267 × 420 mm and the A2 model 500 × 400 mm with up to 150 mm of height. If you decorate garments, a DTF printer is the better tool.

FAQ

About this machine

What can I print with it?

Small flat or shallow items up to 120 × 210 mm: phone cases, cards, tags, paper and small gifts up to 120 mm tall.

Can it print white?

Yes. It prints white and colour in the same pass, so you can print on dark or clear phone cases.

How fast is it?

Speed depends on size, resolution and white layers. Send us your artwork and we will run a test print and time it.

Does it need a special computer?

It runs from a Windows PC. Power supply is AC 100–230 V, so it works in most countries with the right plug.
