Fiber and MOPA markers

Cabinet Fiber Laser Marking Machine 20–200 W

Models · MW-F (20–200)

A floor-standing fiber laser marking workstation: source, controls, monitor and keyboard tray are built into one steel cabinet. Sources run from 20 to 200 W at 1064 nm, so the same frame covers fine surface marking through deep engraving on metal. It suits factories that need a fixed marking station for production parts.

Overview

The cabinet marker is a complete marking station on one frame. The fiber laser source and controls live inside a steel cabinet. The galvo scan head rides on a lifting column above the work table, and a monitor and pull-out keyboard tray sit at working height. An operator can load parts, adjust the design and mark without a separate desk or PC table.

The range covers 20 to 200 W. Low-power versions make fine, shallow marks for part numbers, logos and codes. High-power versions engrave deeper and finish each part faster. The listed source has a beam quality of M² < 1.6 and lets you set the pulse width between 2 and 500 ns, which gives more control over how the mark looks on different metals.

Configuration

  • Laser source: pulsed fiber laser at 1064 nm, 20–200 W, with a 3 m armoured fiber cable and anti-high-reflection protection.
  • Scan head: galvo scanner and field lens on a lifting column for focus adjustment.
  • Cooling: air. No chiller is needed.
  • Workstation: steel cabinet with a monitor, control panel, drawer and pull-out keyboard tray, on levelling feet and casters.
  • Size: 80 × 60 × 138 cm, shipped in a 97 × 76 × 121 cm export crate (115 kg packed).

Typical applications

The machine marks stainless steel, steel, aluminium, brass and many engineering plastics. Typical jobs are part IDs and serial numbers, QR codes and barcodes, nameplates, tool marking and deep engraving on metal parts.

Options and customization

  • Power: choose from 20 W up to 200 W to match the depth and cycle time you need.
  • Marking area: not given on the datasheet; tell us your part size and we will fit a suitable field lens.
  • Supply: voltage and plug are built to your country’s standard.

The machine carries Maxwave’s 2-year whole-machine warranty, and we offer free operator training at our Wuhan factory.

FAQ

About this machine

Is the marking area fully enclosed?

No. This is an open workstation: the scan head sits on a lifting column above the work table. Operators should wear laser safety glasses rated for 1064 nm. If your site needs a protective enclosure, tell us and we will confirm what is available.

Which power do I need?

20–30 W covers surface marking such as serial numbers, logos and QR codes. Higher powers, up to 200 W, are for deeper engraving and shorter cycle times on metal. Tell us the material, depth and cycle time and we will match the source.

What do the pulse width and frequency ranges do?

The listed source sets pulse width from 2 to 500 ns and frequency from 1 to 4000 kHz. Short pulses give fine marks with little heat; longer pulses remove more material. The exact ranges depend on the source fitted, so confirm them for your power option.

How much space does it need?

The cabinet measures 80 × 60 × 138 cm. It ships in a 97 × 76 × 121 cm crate with a total packed weight of 115 kg.
