Fiber and MOPA markers

Integrated Fiber Laser Marking Machine 30–50 W

Models · MW-F (30–50)

A compact all-in-one fiber laser marker: the source, controller and galvo head share one aluminium body with a 28 × 33 cm footprint. It connects to a Windows PC running EzCad2 and marks metals and plastics at up to 8000 mm/s. It suits workshops and benches where floor space is short and the machine may need to move.

Overview

The integrated marker packs a full fiber laser marking system into one small aluminium unit. The fiber source and controller sit in the base, and the galvo scanner hangs from a single column above a perforated work plate. With a 28 × 33 cm footprint it fits on a workbench and is easy to move between work areas.

The galvo head steers the 1064 nm beam at up to 8000 mm/s. That is fast enough for serial numbers, barcodes and QR codes on parts in volume. With more passes it also engraves, to a listed depth of up to 2 mm depending on the material.

Configuration

  • Laser source: fiber laser, 30 or 50 W, at 1064 nm. Pulse frequency is 20–80 kHz as standard; a 1–600 kHz range is listed as an option.
  • Scan head: high-speed galvo scanner with field lens.
  • Focusing: two red pointer beams mark the focal point, and an electric lift sets the head height. A red-light preview shows where the mark will land.
  • Cooling: five fans and an aluminium body. No chiller is needed.
  • Control: EzCad2 software and a JCZ LMCV4-FIBER-M control board, connected to your Windows PC by USB.
  • In the box: the accessories listed for this model include a foot pedal, laser safety goggles, aluminium test cards, a USB cable and a USB drive with the software and training videos. Confirm the packing list with your quote.

Typical applications

The machine marks all common metals and many plastics. Typical uses are part numbers and traceability codes, barcodes and QR codes, nameplates and tags, tools and hardware, and small jewellery items.

Options and customization

  • Power: 30 or 50 W. Choose 50 W for deeper engraving or shorter cycle times.
  • Accessories: a jeweller-type rotary divider, auto focus and a vacuum unit are listed as options.
  • Supply: AC 220 V / 50 Hz as standard; other voltages and plugs on request.

Maxwave covers the machine with a 2-year whole-machine warranty and offers free training at the factory.

FAQ

About this machine

Do I need a separate computer?

Yes. The machine is controlled by EzCad2 on a Windows PC (XP, 7, 8 or 10) connected by USB. The software comes on a USB drive together with training videos.

How deep can it mark?

The listed range is 0.01–2 mm, depending on the material and power. Deep marks take several passes, and a 50 W source gets there faster than 30 W. If depth matters, send us a sample and we will test it.

How do I set the focus?

Two red pointer beams meet at the focal point, and the head height is set with an electric lift. A red-light preview then traces the marking area before the laser fires.

How large is it to ship?

The machine measures about 28 × 33 × 37 cm. It ships in a wooden crate of 38 × 43 × 45 cm with a total packed weight of 30 kg.
