CO2 markers, 10.6 µm

CO2 Glass-Tube Galvo Laser Marking Machine 80–150 W

Models · MW-GA

A large-format CO2 galvo marker built around a Reci glass laser tube, for marking, engraving and cutting thin non-metals over fields up to 800 × 800 mm. It is a lower-cost alternative to metal-tube CO2 markers and is widely used for denim, leather, paper cutting, wood and packaging. Tube power is 80, 100 or 150 W.

Overview

The MW-GA uses a CO2 laser at 10.64 µm, the wavelength that non-metals such as fabric, leather, paper, wood and acrylic absorb well. The beam from a Reci glass tube is expanded, focused and steered by a galvanometer scanner, so it moves much faster than the gantry head of a flatbed engraver. A wide field lens lets it mark patterns up to 800 × 800 mm in one pass.

Glass tubes cost far less than metal RF tubes, which keeps the machine affordable for large-format work. The spot is fine, at 0.2–0.4 mm, so the machine can also cut paper and card, and fade or cut denim. That makes it a common choice in garment, shoe and paper-craft workshops.

Configuration

  • Laser source: Reci W2 or W4 CO2 glass tube, 80, 100 or 150 W.
  • Beam delivery: beam expander, focusing optics and galvo scan head in an overhead housing.
  • Work table: honeycomb table from 300 × 300 to 1000 × 1000 mm, sized to order.
  • Frame: aluminium-profile frame with a cabinet base, control buttons and a monitor shelf.
  • Control: PC with EZCAD. It marks graphics, text, barcodes, 2D codes and batch or serial numbers, and imports BMP, JPG, PNG, AI, DXF, PLT and other files.
  • Supply: 220 V / 50 Hz; 110 V on request.

Typical applications

  • Denim fading, distressing and patterns on jeans and garments
  • Shoes, leather goods and fabric
  • Paper cutting, greeting cards and packaging
  • Advertising materials, wood and acrylic signage
  • Codes on tobacco, food and medicine packaging

Options and customization

  • Tube power: 80, 100 or 150 W. Higher power marks deeper (up to 2 mm) and cuts faster.
  • Marking field: 300, 400, 600 or 800 mm square.
  • Table: custom sizes up to 1000 × 1000 mm.
  • Rotary device: for cylindrical parts.
  • Voltage: 220 V standard, 110 V optional.

We offer free operator training at our Wuhan factory.

FAQ

About this machine

Glass tube or metal RF tube: what is the difference?

A glass CO2 tube costs much less to buy and to maintain than a metal RF tube, which is why this machine can offer large fields at a lower price. The trade-off is that the glass tube is a wearing part; ask us about tube life and replacement for your working hours.

Can it cut as well as mark?

It cuts thin non-metals such as paper and card, and it fades or cuts denim and fabric. It does not cut metal.

Which field size do I need?

Match the field to the largest pattern you mark in one pass: 300 × 300 mm for labels and small leather parts, up to 800 × 800 mm for large garment and textile patterns. A larger field gives a larger spot, so fine detail is sharper on a smaller field.

Can it mark round items?

Yes, with the optional rotary device for cylindrical parts.

What warranty covers the laser tube?

The machine carries Maxwave's 2-year whole-machine warranty. The glass laser tube has been listed with an 18-month warranty; confirm the current tube terms with your quote.
