CO2 markers, 10.6 µm

Flying CO2 Laser Marking Machine 30–100 W

Models · MW-FLYB-100

An on-line 'flying' laser marker that codes products while they move along a conveyor: dates, batch numbers, barcodes and logos on packaging. The CO2 version uses a Coherent or Synrad laser at 10.6 µm for non-metal packaging, and a Raycus or IPG fiber source at 1064 nm is listed for metal parts. The galvo head reaches 8000 mm/s over fields from 50 × 50 to 300 × 300 mm.

Overview

A flying marker codes products on the move. The MW-FLYB-100 stands beside a conveyor, and its galvo head marks each pack or part as it passes, with no need to stop the line. Typical marks are production dates, batch and serial numbers, barcodes and logos.

The standard version uses a CO2 laser at 10.6 µm, which suits paper, card, plastics and other non-metal packaging. The datasheet also lists a fiber version at 1064 nm, with Raycus or IPG sources, for metal parts. Either way, the galvo head marks at up to 8000 mm/s, and the field can be set from 50 × 50 mm for small codes up to 300 × 300 mm for larger graphics.

Configuration

  • Laser source: CO2 laser from Coherent or Synrad, 30–100 W, rated for 4–5 years of use and rechargeable with gas. A fiber version with Raycus or IPG sources is also listed.
  • Scan head: galvanometer head with a Wavelength (Singapore) field lens, repeat accuracy 0.003 mm.
  • Stand: adjustable column with a swivel head bracket, on a wheeled base that holds the electronics.
  • Control: JCZ EZCAD software; imports PLT, BMP, DXF, JPG, TIF and AI files.
  • Cooling: air. No chiller and no consumables such as ink.
  • Supply: AC 220 V / 50 Hz, 1.5 kVA.
  • Shipping: wooden export case.

Typical applications

  • Production dates and batch codes on packaging lines
  • Barcodes and serial numbers for traceability
  • Logos and text on moving products
  • Labels, nameplates and cards

Options and customization

  • Source: CO2 for non-metal packaging, or fiber for metal parts.
  • Power: 30–100 W, matched to line speed and material.
  • Field: 50 × 50 to 300 × 300 mm.
  • Other versions: the datasheet also mentions a MOPA version for colour marks on stainless steel and a 3D dynamic-focus version for curved surfaces; confirm availability with us.
  • Conveyor: the machine is shown with a belt conveyor; tell us whether you need one or will mount it on your own line.

Maxwave covers the machine with a 2-year whole-machine warranty and offers free operator training at the factory.

FAQ

About this machine

What does 'flying' marking mean?

The laser marks each product while it moves on the conveyor, without stopping the line. The marking software compensates for the movement, so coding keeps pace with production.

CO2 or fiber: which version do I need?

CO2 at 10.6 µm suits non-metal packaging such as paper, card, many plastics and leather. Fiber at 1064 nm is for metals and some plastics. Tell us what you are coding and your line speed, and we will match the source.

Does it need a chiller or consumables?

No chiller: it is air-cooled. It uses no ink or solvent. The CO2 laser is rated for 4–5 years of use and can be recharged with gas after that.

Will it fit my existing line?

The head sits on an adjustable column on a wheeled base, so it can stand beside an existing conveyor. Share your line layout, product height and speed, and we will confirm the setup.
