Handheld and portable markers

Dual-Wavelength Portable Laser Marker 1064 nm + 455 nm

Models · MW-F25CA

A 3.9 kg portable marker with two lasers in one head: a 2 W infrared laser at 1064 nm for metals and a 10 W blue laser at 455 nm for non-metals such as wood. It connects to a phone over Bluetooth or to a computer, and works handheld or on its stand. It suits makers, gift shops and small studios that mark both metal and organic materials.

Overview

The MW-F25CA puts two lasers behind one field lens. A 2 W infrared laser at 1064 nm handles marks on metal. A 10 W blue laser at 455 nm handles non-metals such as wood and cork. You choose the source for each job, so one compact machine covers both kinds of material.

The unit weighs 3.9 kg. It can be lifted off its stand by the handle and used handheld, or left on the stand for desk work. A green transparent shield surrounds the beam path below the head. Power is adjustable from 25 to 100 %, and a border or graphic preview shows exactly where the mark will go.

Configuration

  • Lasers: 2 W at 1064 nm and 10 W at 455 nm, both air-cooled.
  • Optics: f = 160 mm field lens rated for 450/1064 nm, with two red pointer beams for focusing.
  • Height: electric lifting axis with up and down buttons on the column.
  • Control: Bluetooth connection to a mobile phone, or a computer connection. Font files can be imported.
  • Marking area: 100 × 100 mm square or 160 × 120 mm oval. With a rotary axis, round items up to 160 × 628 mm can be marked.
  • Size: 300 × 200 × 330 mm, 3.9 kg, under 90 W power draw. It ships in a 46 × 31 × 18.5 cm carton, 8 kg packed.

Typical applications

  • Names, dates and logos on drinkware and gifts
  • Pictures and patterns on wood and cork décor items
  • Tags, small metal parts and promotional products
  • Marks on items too large to fit under a table-top machine

Options and customization

The rotary axis extends the machine to cylindrical items. For metal-only work at higher volume, look at our 20 W and larger fiber markers; for single-wavelength light-duty work, the 2 W MW-SM2 is the simpler choice.

Maxwave covers the machine with a 2-year whole-machine warranty.

FAQ

About this machine

Why two wavelengths?

Metals absorb the 1064 nm infrared laser well, so it is used for marks on steel and other metals. The 455 nm blue laser has more power (10 W) and is used for non-metals such as wood. With both in one head, one small machine covers both kinds of material. For other materials, send us a sample to test.

How do I control it?

Pair a mobile phone over Bluetooth or connect a computer. Font files can be imported, and a border or graphic preview shows the position before you mark.

Can it mark round items such as tumblers?

Yes, with a rotary axis; the listed marking size on the rotary is 160 × 628 mm. Confirm with us whether the rotary is included or an option for your order.

How long do the lasers last?

The listed laser life is more than 8000 working hours.

How portable is it?

It weighs 3.9 kg, measures 300 × 200 × 330 mm and draws less than 90 W. It ships in a 46 × 31 × 18.5 cm carton, 8 kg packed.
