Cabinet UV Laser Marking Machine 3–15 W

Models · MW-UV-3W · MW-UV-5W · MW-UV-10W · MW-UV-15W

A floor-standing 355 nm UV marking workstation with a separate water chiller, offered at 3, 5, 10 and 15 W. The 10 and 15 W models run at higher pulse frequencies (40–300 kHz), and the 5–15 W models take fields up to 200 × 200 mm. It suits production marking of cosmetics, pharmaceutical and jewellery packaging, plastics and glass.

Overview

This is the production version of the Maxwave UV marker. A 355 nm UV source, a galvo scan head, the controls and a monitor are built into a floor-standing cabinet, and a separate smart water chiller keeps the source at a steady temperature. The range runs from 3 W up to 15 W.

UV light marks by breaking molecular bonds rather than by melting the surface, so very little heat reaches the part. That makes the machine well suited to fine marks on polymer packaging, such as bottles for cosmetics, medicine and jewellery, and on plastics and glass where a fiber laser would leave burn marks or discolouration.

Configuration

  • Laser source: 355 nm UV laser at 3, 5, 10 or 15 W. The 3 and 5 W models run at 20–100 kHz; the 10 and 15 W models at 40–300 kHz.
  • Scan head: galvo scanner on a lifting column, line speed up to 7000 mm/s.
  • Cooling: smart water cooling through a separate chiller unit.
  • Workstation: cabinet with monitor, control panel and pull-out keyboard tray.
  • Supply: 220 V ±10 %, 50 Hz, 15 A.
  • Size: 80 × 65 × 150 cm; 135 kg packed for export.

Typical applications

  • Text, logos and codes on cosmetics bottles and packaging
  • Marks on pharmaceutical packaging
  • Marks on jewellery packaging and other polymer containers
  • Fine marks on glassware and clear plastic parts

Options and customization

  • Power: 3, 5, 10 or 15 W. Higher power marks faster.
  • Field: 100 × 100 mm on the 3 W model; 100 × 100, 150 × 150 or 200 × 200 mm on the 5–15 W models.
  • Supply: voltage and plug to your country’s standard.

The machine carries Maxwave’s 2-year whole-machine warranty, with free operator training at our Wuhan factory.

FAQ

About this machine

How does this differ from the 3–10 W UV marker?

This series adds a 15 W source, higher pulse frequencies (40–300 kHz) on the 10 and 15 W models and fields up to 200 × 200 mm, in a floor-standing cabinet with a separate chiller. For lighter work, the 3–10 W UV marker is the smaller option.

Why does a UV laser need a chiller?

UV sources are sensitive to temperature. The smart water chiller holds the source at a set temperature, so output power and mark quality stay consistent over long runs.

What does installation need?

A 220 V ±10 %, 50 Hz supply rated for 15 A, and floor space for the 80 × 65 × 150 cm cabinet plus the chiller. The machine ships crated at 135 kg.

Which field size should I choose?

Pick the smallest field that covers your part: 100 × 100 mm gives the finest detail, while 150 × 150 or 200 × 200 mm (5–15 W models) covers larger parts. The 3 W model comes with a 100 × 100 mm field.
