3D Vertical UV Wall Printer, Epson DX7 Double Head

A rail-mounted vertical wall printer with two Epson DX7 heads and UV ink, built to print any colour on any colour of wall using its optional white channel (CMYK + W). It prints 2.5 m high and 6 m wide as standard, with unlimited width, and runs on 110–220 V. It differs from the Touch-Screen 3D Wall Printer by its UV ink system and wide-voltage supply, and from the Mini Portable UV printer by its fixed rail base instead of a light wheeled frame.

Overview

The 3D Vertical UV Wall Printer prints images straight onto walls with UV-curing ink. The machine stands on a floor rail in front of the wall. The carriage prints a vertical band, then the machine moves along the rail for the next band. Standard print size is 2.5 m high and 6 m wide, and width is unlimited when you move the rail.

Two Epson DX7 heads print at up to 2880 dpi with a 3.0 pl droplet. With the optional white channel (CMYK + W) the printer can lay down any colour on any colour of wall. UV ink cures as it prints, so the image is dry, waterproof and resistant to sunlight without a separate coating step.

Configuration

  • Heads: two Epson DX7 heads, each colour on its own ink supply.
  • Curing: LED UV lamp on the carriage.
  • Wall sensing: ultrasonic probe that keeps the head-to-wall gap and follows unevenness up to 3 cm.
  • Drive: servo motors with a power-off brake.
  • Control: RIP colour-management software, installed and calibrated before delivery; USB 3.0 data link.
  • Power: single-phase AC 110–220 V, 50/60 Hz, 2000 W.
  • Transport: the frame folds to fit in a car, van or SUV.

Typical applications

Murals on coloured or dark walls, hotel, restaurant and shop interiors, photo prints on walls, and decoration on tile and glass. Print speed is 8 m²/h in draft and standard modes and 5 m²/h in high-resolution mode.

FAQ

About this machine

Can it print on dark or coloured walls?

Yes, when ordered with CMYK + white. The white channel lets it print light colours on any background colour.

How fast does it print?

The spec sheet gives 8 m²/h in draft and standard modes and 5 m²/h in high-resolution mode. The old page also quoted up to 15 m²/h; plan your jobs on the spec-sheet figures.

How much area does a set of ink cover?

The manufacturer quotes 120–200 m² per set of ink, depending on image coverage and print mode.

Is the machine checked before it ships?

Yes. A technician tests every machine before shipment, and we provide remote training and support for as long as you use it.
