The MW-GP400 is one machine for two jobs: it prints upright on walls and, reconfigured, flat on floors. Two Epson heads (DX7 as standard; DX10, TX800 or 4720 on request) print CMYK + white UV ink at up to 2880 dpi and 8 m²/h, with a print height of 2, 2.5, 3 or 3.5 m and unlimited width. It is the earlier red-framed 2-in-1 design with the widest choice of heads and heights; the 2025 Track-Type 2-in-1 uses Epson I1600 heads, and the MW-GP200 is a dedicated floor printer.

Overview

The MW-GP400 prints murals on walls and graphics on floors with one machine. In wall mode it stands upright on its floor frame and prints vertical bands as it moves along the wall. Reconfigured for floors, it prints flat images on tiles, cement and other floor surfaces.

Two Epson heads print CMYK or CMYK + white UV ink at up to 2880 dpi with a 3.0 pl droplet. White ink lets you print on dark walls and coloured floors, such as black walls or blue floors. Standard speed is 8 m²/h. Print height is 2, 2.5, 3 or 3.5 m, and width is unlimited.

Heads: two Epson DX7 heads as standard; DX10, TX800 or 4720 on request.
Ink: UV ink, CMYK + white; cured as it prints, waterproof and scratch-resistant.
Control: use it with or without a PC, or connect your own computer. Software is installed and calibrated before delivery. USB 3.0 data link.
Power: single-phase AC 110–220 V, 50/60 Hz, 2000 W.
Design: light frame that is easy to move; red or blue frame colour.

About this machine

Is it really one machine for walls and floors?

Yes. The same printer works upright for walls and is reconfigured to print on floors, so you buy one machine instead of two.

Which heads can I choose?

Two Epson DX7 heads as standard. DX10, TX800 or 4720 heads are available on request; tell us your output and budget and we will advise.

How durable are the prints?

UV-cured ink is waterproof, weatherproof and scratch-resistant. Outdoor life depends on the surface, sun exposure and any protective coat.

How much area does a set of ink cover?

The manufacturer quotes 120–200 m² per set of ink, depending on image coverage and print mode.

How is it different from the Track-Type 2-in-1?

Both print walls and floors. The MW-GP400 is the earlier design with DX7-family heads and four height options; the 2025 Track-Type 2-in-1 uses Epson I1600 heads on a black aluminium mast.
