Overview

This is a compact, air-cooled handheld fiber laser welder for workshops that need to move the welder to the job. The main unit has a carry handle and castors, and needs no water chiller. A separate wire feeder sits next to it for filler-wire welding.

Two power levels are available. The 1000 W model welds stainless steel up to 3 mm and the 1200 W model up to 4 mm. Output adjusts from 1 to 100%, so the same machine also handles thin sheet. The light handheld head welds at any angle and has gas shielding built in.

Configuration

  • Main unit: continuous fiber laser, 1080 ± 10 nm, air-cooled, 440 × 680 × 700 mm, with touch screen, emergency stop and key switches on the front.
  • Handheld head: lightweight welding gun with integrated gas shielding and wire guide.
  • Wire feeder: separate unit with touch screen for the feed settings, 260 × 520 × 360 mm.
  • Controller: sets scan speed, scan width, peak power, duty cycle and frequency.
  • Safety: ground clamp on the workpiece.
  • Accessory kit: the original listing shows a gas regulator, a spool of filler wire, spare protective lenses, wire-feed rollers and hand tools.

Typical applications

Use it for sheet-metal fabrication in stainless steel up to 3–4 mm: square and round tube frames, tube-to-plate joints, corner and fillet joints. The wire feeder adds filler where the fit-up leaves a gap.

Options and customization

  • Power: 1000 or 1200 W.
  • Supply: AC 220 V or 380 V, 50/60 Hz; plugs to suit your country.
  • Accessory kit: confirm the contents in your quote.

The machine ships in a wooden crate with a packed weight of 88 kg. It has a 2-year whole-machine warranty, and we train operators free of charge at our factory.

FAQ

About this machine

Is the wire feeder included?

The original listing shows the machine with a separate touch-screen wire feeder, and a spool of filler wire in the accessory kit. Confirm the exact package in your quote.

How thick can it weld?

The rated welding thickness on stainless steel is 3 mm at 1000 W and 4 mm at 1200 W. The data sheet gives no figures for other metals, so send us a sample if you weld carbon steel, galvanized sheet or aluminium.

What power supply does it need?

AC 220 V or 380 V, 50/60 Hz. Tell us your local supply and plug type when you order.

What can I adjust on the controller?

The touch screen sets scan speed, scan width, peak power, duty cycle and frequency. Scan width swings the beam across the joint to cover a wider seam.

How heavy is it to ship?

The packed weight is 88 kg.
