Air-Cooled Handheld Fiber Laser Welding Machine 1000–1500 W

Overview

This handheld fiber laser welder is built for shops that move the welder to the work. Fans in the cabinet cool the laser, so there is no water chiller to place, fill or drain. The cabinet measures 650 × 300 × 570 mm and has carry handles and castors.

The operator guides a handheld torch along the joint. The laser melts a narrow zone, so the weld seam stays small and the part distorts less than with arc welding. Thin stainless steel usually needs little grinding after welding.

Two power levels are available. The 1000 W model welds stainless steel up to 2.5 mm and carbon steel or galvanized sheet up to 2 mm. The 1500 W model reaches 4 mm on stainless steel and 3 mm on carbon steel and galvanized sheet.

Configuration

• Laser: continuous fiber laser, 1000 or 1500 W, central wavelength 1070 nm.
• Cooling: air cooling with fans on top of the cabinet.
• Torch and cable: handheld welding torch with a holder on the cabinet; fiber cable of 5 or 10 m (1000 W) or 10 or 15 m (1500 W).
• Control: output adjustable from 10 to 100%, modulation frequency 50–5000 Hz.
• Power: 220 V, 50/60 Hz for both models.

Typical applications

Use it for sheet-metal fabrication: stainless steel frames, corner and fillet joints, brackets, housings, and tube-to-plate joints. Its size suits small workshops and jobs where the welder moves around the shop floor.

The machine has a 2-year whole-machine warranty, and we train your operators free of charge at our factory. If you weld mainly aluminium or thicker plate, send us a sample part and we can test-weld it before you order.
