Handheld Laser Welding Machine 1000–3000 W (double wire feed)

Overview

This is our high-power handheld welder. It pairs a water-cooled fiber laser of 1000 to 3000 W with a double wire feeder. The extra power and filler let one operator weld thicker stainless steel than a standard handheld unit, and fill wider joints in fewer passes.

The data sheet rates stainless steel welding thickness at 3, 5, 6 and 7 mm for the 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 W models. The torch wobbles the beam across the joint, with a width you set from 0 to 6 mm. That widens the seam and makes the weld more tolerant of fit-up gaps.

Configuration

• Main unit: fiber laser source, controller and built-in water chiller in one cabinet of 850 × 450 × 680 mm, on castors.
• Handheld head: welding head with integrated gas shielding and wire guide. Its optics and water cooling are designed for long runs at 3000 W.
• Double wire feeder: separate unit with touch screen and two spools. It feeds one or two wires automatically at 15–600 cm/min.
• Fiber cable: 10, 15 or 20 m.
• Safety: the control system has several safety alarms and active power-off of the laser.

Typical applications

• Stainless steel fabrication in 3–7 mm sections.
• Fillet, corner and lap joints that need filler wire.
• Wide or uneven seams, where the wobble and the second wire help fill the gap.

Options and customization

• Power: 1000, 1500, 2000 or 3000 W.
• Fiber cable length: 10, 15 or 20 m.
• Supply: 220 V or 380 V, 50/60 Hz; plugs to suit your country.
• Filler wire: single wire 0.8–1.6 mm or double wire 1.6–2.5 mm.
